High water content
Thanks to the high water content (62%) and the small thickness in the center of the lens, Proclear Sphere offers the user more comfort. Because in the case of silicone hydrogel contact lenses, the carrier of oxygen in the cornea is water, Proclear Sphere contact lenses, due to their high water content, also offer relatively high oxygen permeability.
Due to their high water content and softness, these lenses are more fragile. Therefore, special care is required when handling Proclear Sphere contact lenses.
