For the production of Proclear 1 Day contact lenses by Coopervision, a material containing phosphatidylcholine (PC) molecules is used, which are natural components of human cells. PC molecules are able to bind large amounts of water, which in turn covers the surface of the lens and, as a natural protection, acts effectively against dry eyes and pollutants. PC Technology together with the rounded edges of the lenses contribute significantly to a healthier and more comfortable use of the contact lenses.
